The paper considers the issues of fire safety of high mountain facilities of the energy complex for the purpose of prevention, early detection, assessment of the extent and consequences of emergency situations. The location of such facilities in high-mountainous areas significantly complicates the solution of these problems. The system of fire protection of the electrical equipment of the power complex is considered. The main peculiarities of fire development at high mountain objects of power complex are determined. The necessity of development and implementation of a special set of organisational and technical measures on fire safety of power complexes is noted. Some conclusions and recommendations are made
