Analysis of the situation with fi res and consequences from them in territory of the Russian Federation for 2016 shows that during the year a fi re destroyed 3273 units of tractors. So every day in the Russian Federation, on average, as a result of fi res that destroyed 9 units of automotive vehicles [1]. Analyzing the current situation there is a need to improve techniques to study the causes of fi res in vehicles, one of the components of this complex is the study of the remnants of glazing the car to identify the mode of fracture during the investigation of cases of fi res associated with arson with the help of studies of the glazing of the vehicle on the inverted microscope METAM LV.
