The features of computer simulation within the framework of judicial standard fire and technical examinations are considered in order to assess the impact of non-compliance of fire distances on the spread of combustion between buildings, structures and other facilities. An example of modeling of the fire spread to the gas distribution cabinet during burning of combustible material stored in the protected area of the distribution equipment is given
