The article discusses the problem of monitoring landslide processes in urban landfills of municipal waste, the consequences of which can be salvo emissions of toxic substances into the atmosphere, pollution of water bodies and the occurrence of biological and social emergencies. The results of studies of the territory of the existing waste landfill using aerial photography materials, photogrammetric image processing, construction of a digital terrain model and visual representation of dangerous areas where the body of a landslide is formed are presented
